HAVANA New Hope - Bar, Restaurant, Nightclub

HAVANA is about Great Food, Fun and Music. HAVANA is a restauarant, bar, and nightclub where you can kick back and relax with friends, enjoy an exciting evening of music and entertainment, or celebrate a special event or wedding.

HAVANA Bar, Restaurant and Catering opened in 1978 in New Hope, PA at 105 South Main Street, one of the oldest houses in New Hope. The original owners felt the need for a fun bar/restaurant in New Hope. They set out to create a cool, comfortable place with a great bar, tropical drinks, terrific jazz, good bar food and the tropical feeling of Key West. They added a copper bar and original oil paintings of wild nightclub scenes and calming beaches. The name HAVANA captures the hot, tropical, somewhat forbidden nature of the place.

In 2002 HAVANA bought the business next door and remodeled the entire building, both inside and out. Renovations were completed in November 2002 and HAVANA now boasts seating space for up to 300, rough hewn beams, giraffe carpet, leather couches, a blue granite indoor bar, and an all-weather year-round outdoor bar.

With a sophisticated yet casual decor, HAVANA welcomes everyone of all ages.

Food
Six years ago owners Jane and Jim Faraco were very fortunate to find Robert Hobbs, former executive chef for Bloomingdale's restaurants. Robert is well-versed in contemporary cuisine and Jane's forte is international cuisine. Together they have developed a menu for HAVANA that they call "world cuisine."

Music
Once known only for Jazz, HAVANA now attracts music buffs from five states for the its wide variety of entertainment - Blues, Rock-a-Billy, R&B, and Funk as well as Jazz. There is music at HAVANA 6 nights a week. We start with Karaoke on Mondays, Singer Songwriter on Wednesdays, Jazz on Thursdays and band favorites on Saturday and Sunday.

The Bars
The Bars at HAVANA are very popular! We have nine great beers on tap and a tasty selection of tropical drinks. Optimally located on South Main Street, the Outdoor Bar and Patio is widely recognized as the best people watching spot in New Hope. Catch a glimpse of the local and not so local color in the exciting and diverse town that is New Hope, PA.

The Patio Bar is open all winter long and stays toasty warm with the help of our portable heaters. Even on blustery winter days you will find the outdoor bar hoppin'.

The indoor bar is an old favorite, a great place to meet a friend, wait for your table for lunch or dinner or enjoy your favorite band.

Catering
Whether you want to host a special dinner party, a shower, luncheon, or rehearal dinner, a school event, an anniversary party, a corporate meeting - yHavana will cater it.

Our Staff
We have a terrific staff. Popular waiter, Greg Lane, has been with us for 24 years! If you're nice to him, he'll entertain you with stories about his other life as a New York paparazzi. He has been to the Oscars and the Tony awards several times.
